Our Vision

  

SBCEC offers a personalized approach for every child’s unique growth, a family centered approach with parent coaching and support, and we are known for our passionate professionals who truly care. We provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages success, together we help every child thrive!

Our Services

Our enrichment center offers tailored support for homeschool students who thrive outside traditional school environments. We provide individualized one-on-one tutoring to address academic needs, engaging social skills groups to foster meaningful connections, and comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Our goal is to empower each child with personalized learning and social-emotional development, ensuring they reach their full potential. 

Our Team

Our team is made up of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.

Monday - Thursday

September 2025 - May 28, 2026 

 

8:30am - 2:15pm Enrichment Services 

K -6th grade

$950/month

Requires contract and 9 month commitment, $250 registration fee, waived through August 1, 2025


2:30pm - 4:15pm Social Skills Groups 

K - 6th / Mon - Thurs

7-9th / Mon and Wed

10-12th / Tues and Thurs

$35/day

Requires monthly commitment, registration fee of $75. Waived if you commit to more than 3 months.

8:15 - 8:45 AM | Arrival & Morning Routine

  • Gentle drop-off and greetings
  • Visual schedule review
  • Choice of quiet activities (puzzles, sensory bins, drawing)
  • Settle-in time for smooth transitions

8:45 - 9:10 AM | Morning Meeting & Social Skills

  • Calendar, weather, daily schedule review
  • Social-emotional check-in (feelings chart, discussion)
  • Simple group activity to build social connection

9:10 - 9:50 AM |  Core Subjects

  • Individualized tutoring or homeschool support: Reading, Math, Writing
  • Small group instruction when appropriate
  • Use of visuals, manipulatives, assistive technology

9:50 - 10:05 AM | Sensory/Movement Break

  • Gross motor play: obstacle course, yoga, dance
  • Calming sensory options for those who need regulation

10:05 - 10:25 AM | Snack & Social Time

  • Snack break
  • Encourage peer interaction, conversation skills

10:25 - 11:10 AM |  Enrichment Focus

  • Science, Social Studies, or Project-Based Learning
  • Hands-on experiments, art-integrated activities, interactive learning

11:10 - 11:40 AM | Life Skills/Functional Academics

  • Money handling, time-telling, hygiene routines
  • Simple cooking, vocational readiness, household skills

11:40 AM - 12:10 PM | Outdoor Play or Movement

  • Playground time, nature walk, or guided gross motor games
  • Indoor movement options if weather doesn’t allow outdoor play

12:10 - 12:40 PM | Lunch

  • Supervised lunch
  • Encourage independence (unpacking, clean-up)
  • Calm social atmosphere

12:40 - 1:10 PM | Quiet Time/Sensory Regulation

  • Reading corner, soft music, sensory bins, or independent relaxation
  • Opportunity to self-regulate and recharge

1:10 - 1:50 PM |  Small Group Tutoring

  • Targeted support based on homeschool or IEP goals
  • Focus on literacy, math, or functional academics
  • Use of adaptive tools as needed

1:50 - 2:15 PM | Creative Arts, Social Groups, or Games

  • Art projects, music activities, or drama
  • Cooperative games or peer interaction opportunities

2:15 - 2:30 PM | Wrap-Up & Transition Prep

  • Visual schedule review
  • Positive reinforcement and reflection
  • Prepare belongings and transition to pick-up

2:30 - 2:45 PM | Snack & Social Time

  • Snack break
  • Encourage peer interaction, conversation skills

2:45 - 4:15 PM | Social Skills Groups & Therapeutic Activities

  • Facilitated by qualified staff (BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical team)
  • Focus on peer interaction, emotional regulation, communication, and problem solving
  • Group activities, games, role-playing, and structured social practice
